Licensed Massage & Bodywork Therapist
Megan specializes in therapeutic pain relief massage. With over 8 years of experience she combines techniques and styles learned to directly address chronic and acute pain causing restrictions in the body. Lower back and hip pain is a particular area of focus due to our current lifestyle choices. There are many techniques that can help relieve chronic pain such as sciatica. If you have been struggling with pain, and you’re not sure where to start or how to help, try a session and learn more about where it is coming from. Megan is a big proponent of self-care and helping you figure out what you can do outside of your massage to make your daily life easier. On her down time Megan loves cooking, practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and playing with her dog Rikku.
Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, NASM-CPT
Katie graduated from UNC-CH with a degree in History and American Studies. After dabbling in hospitality, she decided her true calling was in health and wellness. She completed her personal training certification from NASM in 2018, but knew that was just the beginning. She attended the Institute of Integrative Nutrition to become an integrative nutrition health coach. This armed her with the knowledge to help people look at their health not only from the perspective of food, but also from the lens of joy, career, spirituality, and more. Her mission is to saturate the market with food detectives so that there is clean and nutritious food available for all. Katie also enjoys Kundalini Yoga and is working on her teacher certification. She played club water polo in college and enjoys lifting weights and spending time with her boyfriend Ivan, cat Reese, and rabbit Tanqueray.

Zaire, originally from Wilmington, NC, has been living in Durham for over six years. As an aspiring Personal Trainer and Doctor of Physical Therapy, Zaire is currently pursuing his Associate of Arts degree at Wake Technical Community College. In between class and work, he volunteers at his local religious institution with community events, activities, and wherever help is needed. Substitute Chiropractic Assistant
Melany was born and raised in Northern California. After traveling to 47 of the 50 United States, she decided North Carolina was the place to be. She moved to Durham in 2017 with her husband and their two fur babies. (Dogs of course!) Melany had no desire or background in being in the medical field, but began working in the chiropractic world in 2013. She loved it so much she has never left! Melany is our previous Office Manager, but since having her first baby, Addi, in January 2019, she stepped away from full-time work. Melany and her family continue to get adjusted weekly, and you might see Melany behind our front desk, filling in for Zamir. In their free time Melany and her husband enjoy a night out at the movies, walking the trails in this beautiful area, and cooking/baking yummy, healthy food!
